Bio in brief...
At present, I'm a Senior Clinical Veterinarian at the Center for Comparative Medicine and Pathology (CCMP) at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK). The CCMP also provides veterinary care for animals at Weill Cornell Medicine and Hospital for Special Surgery.
I am responsible for clinical and programmatic oversight of xenograft and highly immunocompromised rodent models, as well as oversight of the clinical management, importation, and biosecurity of the zebrafish colony. I am a member of the MSK IACUC and complete protocol reviews and participate in monthly meetings. My publications relate to biosecurity and murine viruses.
Previously, I completed my residency in laboratory animal medicine at the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Laboratory Animal Medicine and Science at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Rockefeller University. Prior to starting my residency, I completed a 1-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery with an emphasis on emergency medicine at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA.
