Bio in brief...

At present, I'm working as a Associate Clinical Professor, Avian Diagnostic and Outreach Veterinarian for Penn State University's Animal Diagnostic Laboratory.

As an Avian Pathologist at a state diagnostic lab, I conduct necropsies on avian species (primarily commercial poultry, but also backyard poultry, pet birds, and wildlife); poultry extension (both commercial and backyard poultry); supervise visiting vet students for clinical externships in diagnostic pathology; and do some teaching (guest lectures) in undergraduate courses at Penn State.

Prior to my current position, I spent 4 years working as a Staff Veterinarian for Jennie-O Turkey Store, an integrated turkey production company.
