Bio in brief...

At present, I am working as a staff veterinarian at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (of the Richmond office). My primary responsibilities are serving as a regulatory veterinarian for the state veterinarian.

Prior to joining VDACS, I was working as a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN pursuing a PhD in veterinary science where my thesis focused on swine infectious disease epidemiology. I am an active member of USAHA and the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV). I also work as a contract veterinarian for Vetco/Petco mobile vaccine clinics.
