Bio in brief...

At present, I'm working as a Faculty Veterinarian for the University of Michigan.

I am a laboratory animal veterinarian  with clinical responsibility for a variety of species including mice, rats, companion animal species, pigs, and other rodent species. In addition, I oversee UM's veterinary student externship program. We also have a laboratory animal medicine residency program and I provide lectures to residents and oversee one of our seminar series (on non-rat/mouse rodents).

I also perform my own research as part of UM's Refinement and Enrichment Advancements Laboratory, with a focus on social housing, environmental enrichment, and reducing compassion fatigue among laboratory animal care workers.
